After a Saturday filled with stupefying finishes in college football, the Fall 2005 Gentlemen's Sundays Seattle Center league had some great finishes and amazing upsets of their own. Of course most of these amazing games had stealer personal performances; none had more of an impact than Andrew Engvall performance against Indy team #1. Andrew led Nice D to a 33-6 victory and was a one man wrecking crew as he picked the ball three times and scored two touchdowns. Kudos Andrew and keep your eye out for the USC scouts.
On a cool night in the beginning of October, the third week of the Fall 2005 Gentlemen's Sunday Seattle Center League continued under the lights. One of the most prominent match-ups of the night was the game of Nice D vs. Speed, two USL veteran teams. These two teams always play hard and have a good time, and this past Sunday was no different. Nice D pulled out a squeaker, 25-19, due in large part to the stunning performance of Kevin Slattery. Kevin flew around the field with Priest Holmes efficiency and vision both on offensive and defense. Kevin also was responsible for the go ahead TD and helped stop Speed on their final drive. Wonderful performance Kevin.
