In a stunning finish to the season, the First Round Let Downs guzzled team Mac & Jacks. The Let Downs, dressed in their traditional Miami Dolphin sky blue, arrived in the finals after beating down speed 34-6 led by the play of David Evanger. Team Mac & Jacks, adorned in their dark blue M&J t-shirts, made it to the finals by besting Nice D with a last minute stop at the goal line and the defensive play of Mark Randen. These two teams clashed in the finals for 40 minutes, with the Let Downs getting 10 interceptions on the way to a 64-12 victory. Alas, Jeff Tracey, with his four TDs carried the Let Downs to the championship victory.
In this first week of Seattle Center Fall 2005 Men's Flag Football playoffs, David Evanger salvaged a win for the third seated First Round Let Downs over the sixth seated Tribe. Dave was a wrecking ball on defense, not allowing any balls to be completed in his area. But that's not all, he sliced and diced his way on offensive and was responsible for the only score the Let Downs had in the second half, the score that eventually was the winning score. Great job Dave and good luck next week.
