It seems that the First Round Letdowns have made a habit of not living up to their name. This Sunday in the summer Gentleman's flag football league at Seattle Center, the Letdowns won their second straight hardcore championship defeating the Lawn Wranglers 52-32. Solid execution on extra-point tries proved to make a difference early in the game. With a total of 6 touchdowns scored for both teams in the first half, the First Round Letdown's consistent 2 point conversions created an early point gap that the Lawn Wranglers were never able to recover from. Perseverance also showed on the Letdown's side as the quarterback was injured in the second half, yet only sat out 1 play and returned for the rest of the game executing the offense like a pro. Reciever Rudy Evans also gave the Letdowns a boost with his 3 touchdowns and 1 interception. Finishing on yet another high note, the First Round Letdowns will be looking for a 3-peat next season. Congratulations!
