Cori and Andi signfied the term of "team player" by their actions that enabled Last Minute to pull out a come from behind win. Trailing by two In the bottom of the seventh innning,Cori and Andi laid down two beautiful suicide squeeze bunts down the first base line to score the tying and winning runs. Their selfless act let Last Minute to advance to the next round in the playoffs where they were able to pull out another win. Nice work Cori and Andi. Good Luck in the rest of the playoffs Last Minute.
Nic is what you would call a Kickball Warrior. He showed up to the park still hobbled from an injury from last season's playoff. His injury would not allow him to put on a shoe on his right foot, so he played in a flip flop. This injury did not stop him from putting on a kicking performance that would make anybody proud. Nic started with a homerun on his first kick that helped score a couple of runs. He continued his stellar performance by getting on base a few more times to go 4 for 4 in the game. His attitude may have out done his kicking as he was not only encouraging his team but also their opponents. Nic you are a true kickball inspiration.
