Illustrating what a clutch player is, Marcus Smith of WOTIM put on a clinic in the first week of the Gentlemen's Sunday Seattle Center Winter league playoffs. With two amazing TD catches, and an over the shoulder leaping interception worthy of Play of the Week honors, Marcus led WOTIM to the semifinals over the DBs. Great job Marcus, we'll see you on Sportscenter.
In a much anticipated match-up in week 5, WOTIM slid by team Rain 25 to 21. WOTIM pulled off this important victory mostly due to the inspirational play of Mason DeBato. Mason was a force on the field that team Rain could not contain. Much the powerful rain storm of week 3, Mason was relentless in his defense and fluid on offense. Great job Mason.
In his first USL game, Bookie helped his team to an opening day shutout of Celtic Swell. As the Quarterback in the first half, he lead WOTIM on a couple of early scoring drives. On the other side of the ball, his defensive play, including an interception, kept the Swell from mounting any kind of comeback.
