Led by Brian, Tayana, and Eric, Gutterballs rolled through the semi-finals and on to the title match where they were able to defeat My Finger's Stuck 556-489. It was a magical night for all involved. Brian later was quoted as saying that this was the greatest accomplishment in his entire Monday Bowling career.
With two team leading games of 158, Brian Jorgenson was able to put Gutterballs in a position to take the championship. It was the first championship for Gutterballs and likely not the last with guys like Brian leading the way.
Kristin Olson demolished her personal best and the competition Monday night, earning her some fine POTW honors. She was in the zone. She was on fire. She was in a zone that had caught on fire and the only way she could try to put it out was to keep bowling consecutive strikes and spares, but the fire just kept spreading and spreading until it had completely consumed her and the zone so that she became Firey Zone Bowling Mistress of Infinity.
Anyway, congrats Kristin and congrats Gutterballs on making the playoffs.
