Spring Big Turkey Bowling at Sunset Monday 7pm

After losing in game 1 of their first ever Big Turkey matchup, Darren stepped up his game a notch. Darren's 175 in game #2 was a clean game until the 9th frame, unfortunately he lacked the consistency that the Big Turkey likes when giving out free Red Hooks. Darren alternated strikes and spares the whole game. So in the place of a free drink, Darren gets Player of the Week.

Dedication is the name of the game, folks. The road to the Underdog Championship is long and grueling; six weeks of sheer terror and gut-wrenching agony, and only the fittest survive. Well, not really, but teams like Tiffany "Sassy" Louis' My Finger's Stuck set a high bar. These guys are the first back on the lanes when the league ends, honing their craft, practicing their trash talk, bringing their energy fields into sacred allignment. They even bowl the Saturday morning early shift to get that competitive edge. Tiffany runs a tight- but fun- ship, and has promised to dazzle us sometime around week 4 or 5, when the entire team will transform into one giant Voltron like entity. Congrats, Tiffany. We'll be waiting.

Kristin Olson demolished her personal best and the competition Monday night, earning her some fine POTW honors. She was in the zone. She was on fire. She was in a zone that had caught on fire and the only way she could try to put it out was to keep bowling consecutive strikes and spares, but the fire just kept spreading and spreading until it had completely consumed her and the zone so that she became Firey Zone Bowling Mistress of Infinity.
