Liquid Courage played down a person this week. It took them a while to get their footing and lost a close first game. They rallied back to win their next two games and the match. Cody was crucial to this win with his great defense in the back row and stellar net play. Their opponents had tough blockers so Cody got crafty with tips and quick sets. Cody had an all around stellar performance!
Liquid Courage played down a woman this week, but made up for it with hustle! Even though they did not win their match, the games were very competitive with long rallies and great diving plays! Emily stood out for her passing, setting, and defensive hustle. She was a playmaker and had many assists that let to kills. Her defense was stellar and it helped make up for the whole they had in the back row with one player down.
Great job Emily and Liquid Courage - keep up the hustle!
