Spring Midcore Volleyball in Ballard Tuesdays

Nuthin' Fancy was the dominant team in this league all season. After playing together for six years, they have definitely found their rhythm. Nuthin Fancy has a solid lineup with their stud setter, Tiffany surrounded by five teammates who can all equally block, hit, and pass.

Nuthin Fancy not only won all their matches, but every single game as well. The championship was especially exciting because it was one of their closest games all year. At one point, after falling behind, Nuthin Fancy called a time out, regrouped, and came out of their huddle with fire in their eyes. After that it was only a matter of time before they won the game and match!

Nuthin' Fancy

Dave has been a team leader all season. He is a coach on the court and is always encouraging and supporting his teammates! Lets not forget his stellar play though. Dave was like a wall this week at middle blocker. The opposing team had some tough hitters, but they had a tough time hitting around Dave. He also had a few diving digs from the back row that were really impressive. Dave plays solid every time he steps on the court, but he really stepped up this week to help his team win the championship.

Nuthin' Fancy

Nuthin' Fancy was very fancy last night. It is obvious that they have some incredible athletes on the team, but what is most impressive is the team's chemistry. Each player contributes and they make sure everyone gets a good share of sets. They even give their setter opportunities to hit. Nuthin' Fancy will be a force to be reckoned with in the championship game. Any team will have to step up their game to challenge them for the title!

Nuthin' Fancy

Nuthin' Fancy is a very strong team. This week they had five great hitters who all had multiple kills. Their play would not have been possible without their AWESOME setter, Tiffany. Tiffany had countless assists and her team constantly praised her for her well placed sets. During a fourth 'for fun' game, Tiffany got a few chances to spike the ball and she excelled at that as well. Great job Tiffany you were definitely an MVP this week.

Nuthin' Fancy

Tiffany is an amazing setter and tonight she showcased her skills. Nuthin' Fancy's spikers had an easy job as Tiffany set up beautiful passes for them. Everything just came effortlessly for Tiffany as she directed the ball anywhere on the court. The perfect height and distance from the net helped Nuthin' Fancy pound down the great sets from Tiffany. Keep it up Tiffany, you're absolutely dishing it out!
