How do you rout a team 10-0? Keep them from ever reaching first base. That was the method for Nick Bogart and the Pink Seagulls Sunday afternoon in Ballard. No knock on the North American Ball Smashers; they had several kicks go down the third base line that more often than not result in an infield single in our grand sport of kickball. But it was not to be. Bogart caught everything that was thrown to him at first, laying out for a ball (with a toe on the bag of course) at least five or six times, earning him the nickname "Stretch" for the day. Congratulations, Nick.
