This week player of the week honors goes to Ben Fissel for his all around play and attitude. Despite his team coming up short on the night, Ben always seemed that I am going to continue to play hard attitude. That was no more evident than his stupendous defense at first base. Ben made a conscisous decision that no ball was going to get by him, through him or over him. He made play after play including one catch where the ball was drilled at him so hard his only option was to use his face and hands to catch the ball. However, his best play was when he caught a ball that was over his head while falling backwards, he received a standing ovation for that catch. Ben you deserve a round of applause for that effort.
