While Morning Wood takes their shots from time to time, they also dish out quite a lot as well. In the Fall season, Morning Wood played some of their best football of the year, going 8-0 and winning their umpteenth USL crown. Congrats to the winners from the Statdog.
In a 27-14 victory over Finger Lickin' Good, no player had a bigger impact than Chris Cousyn. Chris' performance on the defensive side of the ball held Finger Lickin' Good in check throughout the game, allowing the offense to manage the clock and pull away for the win.
In a very close game with division rivals, 2 old 2 tired, 2 slow, Linda Emery of Morning Wood came up big. In a game that was decided by only one point, Linda was an integral part of every drive. Linda seemed to be open when ever Morning Wood needed a big play. With hands like super glue, Linda didn't drop even one ball. Nice work Linda.
