The Player of the Week is Maura Konopinski. Maura had a big day in The Son of Pitches win this week over Legends of the Ball. Coming in with her usual great attitude, ready for a good time, I'm sure she had no idea that she would start one of the rarest plays in all of kickball/baseball. Maura was out at second base when a fly ball came her way. Making the catch, she quickly realized that the runners at second and first had left the bases before she caught the ball. After tagging second to get the out there and pegging the player running back to first to get the unassisted triple play. Very few people can say they have completed a triple play and now Maura can say she was one of the lucky few. Congratulations Maura on being the Player of the Week!
