It was experience that sealed the deal for the Pinpals in their championship bid Sunday night. They had been to the winner's cricle before. Indeed, they bookended the year with Championship titles, picking up a Winter bowling title at the beginning of '06.
The champs started out well, beating their first round opponents The Holy Rollers by a hefty 60+ pins. Their championship round opponent Unusual Spare beat Spare Me by 40 pins. Would these two bruts finally meet their match in the finals?
Er- not so much. The Pinpals kept up their domination, finishing off Unusual Spare by about 50 pins, while Spare Me salvaged third from their matchup with the Unholy Rollers by the same margin. Paul Ng put the icing on the cake for the Pinpals by rolling a turkey in the tenth frame.
As they say in the movies: "That's all she wrote."

The man to beat Sunday Night was Paul Ng, and folks- it just wasn't going to happen. Paul is always a solid bowler, but definitely turned it on in the playoffs, bowling games of 196 and 194 respectively. Paul rolled so many turkeys that we ran out of things to give him! His last one came in fine style- as an explanation mark to the Pinpals' season- three smooth strikes in the tenth frame of the championship game to put it away. Congratualtions to Paul and the Pinpals on another championship victory!
