Chad S. came up big in a tight game that ended 6 to 2, a defensive showdown. Chad played the hot-corer at 3rd base, and had his position on lockdown. Chad caught everything kicked in his direction, and help in slowing offensive production by his opponent. Chad also helped at the plate, getting a few solid kicks getting runners in motion and getting the eventual 6 to 2 victory. Great game Chad!
Brandi Williams is our player of the week this week for her excellent all-around play. Whether she was wheeling her way around the base paths or making some great catches in the outfield, Brandi was a key impact player in this week's game. In one particular instance, Brandi demonstrated her awareness and athleticism by making a phenomenal catch in the outfield, then tagging second base to force an inning-ending double play. Between that and her 4 RBIs, Brandi is far and away our player of the week.
