The Cleveland Steamers and the Bonneville Badgers fought back and forth the entire game. The Badgers took an early lead but by the third inning, everything was tied up. The teams took turns scoring 2 to three runs each inning resulting in a tense seventh and final inning. The badgers were up to kick with only one run necessary to keep the game in reach. They had two early outs, and could not maintain their two out rally long enough to bring in the tyeing run. The steamers are the league champions!!
Bryce dedicated this weeks performance with his Henna tattoo in memory of his far east friend (you guys know what I mean ;). He played hard, while at the same time having utmost integrity. He welcomed the banter from opponents and played the entire game with a smile. Congrats on player of the week!
