KICKing Up with the BALLdashians (KUB) started the season off 0 and 1 with a forfeit, but after that game they never looked back. KUB just kept winning and finished the season with just one loss and the number one seed going into the chipper. Playing a solid team Kick Tease, both teams battled in a game that ended 6 to 4, and the BALLdashians came out on top, with their excellent defense. Defense won this Championship, and everyone loves great defenses in the city of Seattle! Great game Dashians!
This weeks honors go to the Champs as a whole team. Everyone played extremely solid defense in their championship game only giving up 4 runs. Being the team all season they showed why they were the number one seed as they played flawless, and had a great time doing it. Great season!
Jamie was all over the field this week as she played a key role in her team's victory on Tuesday. In the early innings, a close play at first base resulted in Jamie colliding with a baserunner; a hit that would break the resolve and aggressiveness of most players. This was not true for Jamie; her consistently sublime first base play and precise kicking display eased her team to a win. For her resolve and competitive spirit, Jamie is our player of the week.
