With runners on first and second and nobody out, short stop Annie A. was able to snag a screaming line drive, step on second to get the runner off base, then chase the runner down to first and tag her out before she got back for the traditional unassisted triple play! Jamie was all over the field this week as she played a key role in her team's victory on Tuesday. In the early innings, a close play at first base resulted in Jamie colliding with a baserunner; a hit that would break the resolve and aggressiveness of most players. This was not true for Jamie; her consistently sublime first base play and precise kicking display eased her team to a win. For her resolve and competitive spirit, Jamie is our player of the week.
