Rachel earns the Player of the Week for playing a double header and then helped out another team for a third game. In this game, Rachel played wonderfully, but was unfortunately struck by a ball in the outfield. She sacrificed herself for a different team, now that's what I call a team player!
The 4:30pm game gave So Fresh and So Green something they haven't run into very often....a very competitive game! As So Fresh and So Green squared off against Thick Sticks it became obvious very early in the game that these are two very quality teams. Both teams flashed the leather in the field and had impressive moonshots and frozen ropes from the plate, but it was So Fresh and So Green's own Neta Fischer who helped provide the difference in this game. Neta had a great day from the plate with some timely hitting including a beautiful triple! She also had 2 great slides in the game as she showed off her wheels and aggressive base running! Congratulations to So Fresh and So Green on a hard earned 12-8 victory and to Neta Fischer, this week's Player Of The Week!!
