It almost looked like all hope was lost in the championship game for Just the Tip for the second season in a row. Down by 10 points, God's Gift was driving the ball to put the game away in the second half, when Tony Maclean returned a huge interception to 1st and goal. Just the Tip was able to score 2 plays later, and after a key stop on defense got the ball back down by only 3 points with just a few minutes remaining. A dramatic goal line stand resulted in Just the Tip scoring yet again to make the score 34-31 with 30 seconds left, where it would remain. A solid effort by the entire team and a few momentum changing plays turned the game around for Just the Tip as they defeated God's Gift for the championip in the Summer Gentleman's Midcore flag football league at Seattle Center Sundays. Congratulations!
