Mary earned player of the week by playing a helluva game against the Freeballers Thursday night. She dodged balls as the last player for about five minutes. It looked like she and her team was going to lose the game but she dodged and caught balls keeping the rally alive. She seemed to feed off teammates willing her to stay alive as she was tired toward the end of the match. Their team spirit coupled with Mary's superior dodgeball savvy (skills) merit giving her the player of the week. Great Job Mary! To all those who have earned player of the week, it has been a privilege observing and writing about you folks. I think many players who were not nominated are still great players, however, some just stood out as the cream of the crop (every week). Kudos to all who have left it all out on the court to earn player of the week.
