Fall Softcore Kickball at Ballard Boys and Girls Club Sundays

Dan was a model sportsman last Sunday at the Ballard Boys and Girls Club. While pitching for T-Ballin, Dan fielded a comebacker ball that gave him an opportunity to tag out an opposing baserunner, who was headed for third base. When the baserunner tripped and fell over, Dan opted not to throw the ball at her. Though the baserunner ended up safely making it to third, Dan showed that there is definitely a place for civility in kickball.

In addition to his outstanding play on both sides of the ball, Cole-Train ["woo-woo"] also earned player of the week honors for his outstanding sportsmanship as well. Offensively, Cole had some huge kicks for a total of 7 RBI's, including a huge grand slam home run in the 1st inning [T-Ballin had 2 grand slams in the inning to take a quick 9-0 lead.] Defensively, he just made plays from wherever he was on the field--big catches and great throws. Thanks for playing hard but keeping it fun.

T-Ballin earns a sweet victory!

What a great day for some Underdog Kickball as T-Ballin squared off against One Kick Wonder. Both teams seemed pretty evenly matched, but it was T-Ballin's own Lisa Brooks who provided the difference. Lisa went f-for-4 from them plate and was an absolute ball magnet in the field! Lisa earned the unanimous player of the game nomination from her team and also earns Player Of The Week honors for her consistency from the plate and defensive prowess in the field! Congratulations to T-Ballin on a sweet 11-7 victory!
