The Tribe had to fight hard through the playoffs this season, starting off as a 9 seed, but that did not deter them. After making it through a close semi-final game, the Tribe kicked it into high gear for the championship defeating the Freeballers 54-26. A combination of big plays and consistent defense, including 8 touchdown passes by Travis Scarborough, were evidence enough that the Tribe was not tired out from their previous match, and it proved to be too much for the Freeballers. Congratulations Tribe!
This week in the Gentleman's Flag Football League at Juanita High School on Sundays the player of the week is Travis Scarborough of The Tribe. Travis led his team to the Midcore 1 Championship with a solid performance throughout the playoffs, and throwing 8 touchdown passes in the championship game. Travis also had a great supporting cast to catch his on point passes, and hopes for a repeat next season! Good job Travis!
