This weeks player of the game goes to the hustle of the catcher from Splat! Kemi Adeyemi hustled out kicks to get to first, and attempted great plays at home, sacrificing her well being, and getting hit in the face with the big red rubber ball! Great job this week and way to hlp your team!
It was a great opening night to the new Rookie league at Cascade, although you couldn't tell these folks were rookies by looking at them. The games were competitive, yet fun, with top POTW honors going to Chako Suzuki. Chako was unanimously voted POG by her winning teammates (who also dubbed her the "Most Graceful" player) for her expert defense, as she snagged about a handful of fly balls.
