In Soviet Russia, Ball Kick U

Mustering all her will and determination, Lynn pulled on her kicking shoes and made her way up to home plate. She was nursing a severe pull in the quadriceps of her kicking leg, but you wouldn't know it by the smile on her face. She had a plan.
With two runners in scoring position, Lynn gathered as much might as she could, she swung and made connection, putting the ball into play. Then came the patented "Delay" play. Instead of hobbling down to first, she slowed, and eventually stopped, forcing the defensive fielder to make a hasty decision. It paid off. The delay tactic forced a play at first base, giving opportunity to the runner who started on 2nd base, to attempt to leg it out for an extra run on the play.
The play worked like a charm as Lynn essentially knocked in the eventual game winning run. A couple innings later, Lynn would prove that she wasn't a One Time Wonder. Executing to the "T", she produced similar results, driving home a lead cushioning run. Well done Lynn!
