Annie "Pigpen" Douglas was the life of the party tonight.
She amused both teams with her flare for the dramatic.
Leading off for her Mafia team, she poked an uncontested ball towards third base and promptly slide head first into first base...we'll assume on purpose.
The fun didn't stop there, oh no.
Her second time up, looked much the same, only this time, I'm pretty sure there was a sniper in the trees, because she went down in a heap at first base...again, uncontested.
On defense, she threw all four appendages at the ball on numerous occasions at second base.
Comic relief and a testiment to why we all love this game, Kickball!
