it all came down to the bottom of the 7th. it was a tie ball game looking like it was going into extra innings. it was do or die time for Balls Deep. the inning started off with a double by jeremy harvey. the next batter advanced him to third base. a fly ball to the outfield was all she wrote as jeremy crossed the plate for the winning run. it was a white knuckle thrill ride and the perfect end to a season.
jeremy had the Game winning run in the bottom of the seventh along with the double that set up the victory. he also hurt his shoulder early in the game but had the strength and mental commitment to stick it out and be the hero in the championship game. good game jeremy.
This weeks player of the week goes to Jeremy Harvey. With playoffs in full swing, and the intensity rising, Jeremy came ready to play. In all close game against "The Tea Baggers", Jeremy's play kept his team on-top. With a great catch, along with other big plays, he helped chalk-up a W for his team. Great job Jeremy!
Collette was initially timid about playing in the field. Despite this, her team was confident in her and they were proved correct. She made several catches in the infield over the course of the game and kept her cool getting a few key outs at second base late in the game.
