In the last game of a beautiful warm evening of kickball in Everett, it was Discount No.5 . . . ahem, pardon me, the newly renamed Green Peppers vs. Challengers. Don't let the new name fool ya, this is the same team with some added firepower! Muy Caliente! Green Peppers openned up the first inning by putting up the maximum number of allowable runs and never looked back. In this game of impressive offense, it's surprising that this week's Player Of The Week would come from her defensive efforts. Ashley Potts of Green Peppers made two impressive catches, one of which she took a ball which was laced straight at her and made it look like she was playing with a balloon . . as if that wasn't enough she did it in a calm cool & collected manner punctuated with her "stunner shades" for style points. Congrats to Green Peppers for a lopsided 25-1 victory and to Ashley Potts - Player Of The Week!!!
