This weeks player of the week goes to Jamie Palermo!! Her play on both defense and offense was outstanding. Besides playing a great Right-Center, she capped it with an all out diving catch for an out, and holding the runners. She also got on base wtih her hard kicks at the plate!! Great job Jamie!
It was a nice night on Thursday for Jacked and Tan. They ran away from the Barebacks 17-4 on the strength of some great baserunning and some timely kicking. In the fifth inning, just when it seemed as if the Barebacks were on the verge of a comeback, Carly Bird-Vogel ran from out of nowhere to snatch any hopes of a comeback with an incredible catch from the shortstop position. The catch came on a line drive with two runners on and in the midst of a good rally, and protected the lead while also sending a message to the Barebacks that nothing was going to be coming easy.
