Team Fiesta pulled off the improbable and finished off an undeafeated season with a 10 run win over the Balls o' Rubber. The rain, wind, and stellar outfielding by the Balls did their best to subdue the goliath, but were overcome by shear kickball magnitude...and some crazy shoes. I believe is was R. Kelly who said it best, "Fiesta, fiesta." I'm not really sure how that pertains, but he sure is right. FELICITACIONES EN SUS PANTALONES!
The Mad Monks cruised to a bronze in the Magnolia league by way of a forfeit. Intimidation played a key role in this victory.
Player of the Week goes to Joon Yi Kim who made a solid defensive play kicking the ball from second to third to prevent the Majestic Beast's bid in their late game rally. By keeping the runner on second base, Team Fiesta En Los Pantalones was able to make the routine out at third with the following batter preserving a lead in which they would never surrender. Way to go Joon!!!
