On this day youth out-ran wisdom. With 2 great teams in the champonship game, it was "Run IT Up" who outplayed their opponent, just like they had all year. With a team overflowing with talent, took on a great team "Ass Clowns", who are no slowches at all, and beat them 48 to 32! With the help and leadership of Anthoney "Icebox" Slagle they were able to keep the Ass Clowns frowning. Great job Run It up!
This weeks player of week goes to Anthoney Slagle. Going up agaist a great offense in the Championship game, Slagle was a presence early. With a big INT returned for 6 set the tone early for the championship game! Great job Anthony!
In a close game that showed a lot of offense, it was the defense help from Bub Bergstrom that helped his team advance in the playoffs. The final score was 40 to 34 in favor for "Run it up". Bub kicked in 2 big INT's that helped tip the scales in his teams favor. Great job Bub!
