This week, Shain easily earned player of the week honors for being a 6-tool player in his game on Thursday. Along with the traditional 5-tools used in baseball evaluation (Batting, batting for power, arm strength, fielding, and baserunning), Shain provided tremendous leadership to his team. Whether it was consistently aiding with situational alignment of his defense, helping organize his team between innings, or vibrantly cheering his teammates on to keep energy up during a late game, Shain uplifted the spirits of everyone present. For his all-around terrific performance, Shain is our player of the week.
