Let's just cut to the chase and talk about the championship game. High Fives For Life came off a hot win ready to steamroll the reigning champs of most BTB leagues, Roy Munson's Kids. Unfortunately, they were unsuccessful, as fate would have it. However, High Fives is still the number one most spirited team in all the land. They are SO spirity that they even gave the shirts right off their backs and the hats off their heads to the members of Roy Munson's to show them that win or no win, High Fives is here to make friends.
Roy Munson's Kids were on fire! Shall we talk about it? Of course there is Captain Will coming in at #1 with a capped 205. Then, the ever-so-lovable Drew Down with a 175 followed by a solid 147 posted up by Gary. Moving on the ladies, Sara led the way with a 143 followed by Kristen's very respectable 116 and Kristine's 113. All's I'm sayin is Roy Munson's is all about the teamwork. There is no 'i" in "team." Champs for life!
Drew and Will both overcame bowling alley adversity and still managed to each bowl over 205 in the first game. Drew bowled a 211 and Will was a close second with a 206. All this after waiting for nearly a half hour for their lanes to be fixed before they could start bowling. Once it was clear the lanes would not be fixed that night, they moved along with "High Five" to the other end of the alley and proceeded to manually score the entire game...and still bowl over the 205 cap. That is ridiculous!
