Balls to the Wall
With bases loaded and less than two outs in the bottom of seventh with a 7-7 tie, Balls to the Wall was looking for a hero. His team had one request, "Kick the ball into the air". That was all. Not how far, not where, not to whom...but just in the air. Joe did exactly what they asked. He popped a little floater barely to second base, but it was enough to make a close tag-up play and Joe's team prevailed. He had sacrificed himself and his ego for the good of the team.
Great job Joe!

Balls to the Wall
Player of the week honors go to Scott Jarnagin from team Balls to the Wall. Scott's timely 2-out, 3-run homerun in the second inning gave Balls to the Wall the lead over Blue Ballz. Not only did the homerun put his team in the lead, but it also sparked a huge 8 run inning that would prove to be too much for their opponents. Congratulations Mr. Jarnagin!

Balls to the Wall
In a game with many peaks and valleys, Jackie Cotter kept a cool and level head when it mattered most to pull out the win for her team. Balls To The Wall jumped out to a big lead early and it looked like they would cruise to victory. But a huge late game run had the Ballard Drinking Team up heading into the final inning. Jackie's base-running sealed the deal for Balls to The Wall. With two outs, she advanced to third, while Ballard Drinking team couldn't stop the tying run. Too late at home, they tried to get Jackie out at third, but the ball sailed past on an overthrow and Jackie high-tailed it home for the game-winning run.

Where My Pitches At?
The Player of the Week is awarded to Mike Uhl of Where My Pitches At? Mike's triple in the second inning sparked a huge 5 run inning that proved to be decisive. It would be the only inning that Where My Pitches At scored in as the Indy team, team Blue Ballz would threaten late in the game. Congratulations Mike on a game well played!

Ballard Drinking Team
Management for the Ballard Drinking Team knew that if they were going to make a run to the playoffs, they needed to make a key acquisition to their roster before the trade deadline. Enter Cassie Brophy. In Ms Brophy's professional kickball debut, she helped spark the team to two huge upset wins and put the Ballard Drinking Team back into contention! It wasn't easy though: Her opponents quickly came to realize that she was the secret weapon to Ballard Drinking Team's offensive and defensive strategies and put a target on her back. Ms Brophy was tackled, pushed, beaten and bruised but to no avail... her diving catch late in the game sealed BDT's first winning streak of the season! Congratulations Cassie Brophy for earning PLAYER OF THE WEEK!

Where My Pitches At?
Ken had a great week on defense. Ken had some sensational catches out there. He played centerfield like a young Ken Griffey Jr. I was amazed that the Turkey Snazzlers kept kicking fly balls his way. He got to everything with ease. Some of his catches saved some runs and kept the game close. Great Job Ken!
