It didn't take long for No Pants Party to get their fiesta started with a win over the underdog Puddle Pirates. The Puddle Pirates appeared poised for possible upset, but after an error-ridden first inning, No Pants Party took control of the semi-final game for good, combining two 9-run innings to obtain the win. Across the field, The Empty Pitchers stormed their way through to two straight victories to secure a spot in the title game with the help of Katie Bowler's gold glove and Tony Rapp's slugging. A fierce competition ensued for the championship, with No Pants Party falling into an early hole of 10-5 by the third inning. But they would not be denied their chance at the plate, bringing around 6 runs in the 3rd inning to take the lead. In a game that featured 5 lead changes and 4 ties, Tony Jones provided the game-changing performance with 5 RBI's and 2 HR's (while also controlling the game with his "outfield" timeouts).
