Both Serve it Up Buttercup and Hardwood Heartache came ready for a fight tonight. In game one Buttercup definitely had the upper hand to start since they were warm from their previous game, but Hardwood held strong and came up to speed, just a little too late. Game two was full of awesome serves and many great saves from both sides of the court. All players were running, diving and jumping for any ball they could get their hands on. In the end it was Buttercup that sealed the victory.

People were flying high in the final match between Is that Pesto? and Drew's Last Stand. While there were many great digs and sets, the real entertainment was at the net as both teams were showing their stuff with big blocks and killer spikes. Christian from Drew's Last Stand was the ultimate high flyer as he took is 6 foot something self and went avatar style on the rest of the players. Dave from Pesto blocked it back in Christians face a couple of times, but the sets were a little too plentiful. After a close first game Drew's Last Stand came out victorious and had a repeat performance in the second game to be crowned champions.
