Winter Gentlemen's Flag Football at Seattle Center Sundays

The game of the week was between HDL Bros and BIG YAC. In a back and forth contest, Brian Christian led the way for HDL Bros by catching two long touchdown passes in a narrow 30-26 victory. But the biggest play he made was on defense, making a critical interception that made the difference.

Dan Quirk led the way for Puget Sound Moose in a 31-20 victory over Lynch Mob. It was an all around effort, as Quirk threw five touchdown passes leading the way in offense. But it was Dan's three interceptions on defense that made the difference for the victors.

Your Mom's identity as a team has shifted this season. They're now a team built upon the strength of their defense. They have stepped up their communication, and are winning games with a defense first mentality. John Banks led the way for Your Mom on Sunday night, intercepting two passes and scoring a touchdown on offense in his team's 26-18 win.

Heading into the playoffs, BIG YAC faced a daunting task as they opened up against top seeded Ridonkulous. But the guys were up to the challenge, putting together a strong all around effort to get into the semi-finals. Martin Doyal led the way, intercepting two passes on defense, with one of them being particularly spectacular. Near the sideline, Martin dove for a tipped ball, got two hands on it, just as he landed one foot in bounds in order to secure the interception. Doyal also had a key touchdown in the second half that turned out to be the decisive scoring drive in a 26-18 victory.
