Fall Co-ed Kickball at Lower Woodlands Sundays

Kyle had a significant impact out on the field this Sunday to earn PTOW! He had a nice inside the park Home Run. It was amazing to see the big man get after it. He smelled blood and chugged into home standing up! He made a nifty move to avoid a tag at second in another at bat! The man is nimble for a slick giant! He made several key stretches at first to take away bunts. His awesome display of all around skills earned him a write up! Congrats Kyle!

Thom gets player of the week this week because of his style at first. During Shades of Blue's double header he perfected a new style of out at first. When the throw was a little off line instead of stretching and potentially stepping off of the bag he simply stepped off intentionally and slapped the ball at the oncoming base runner. It worked surprisingly well. Great games Thom.

Ben had AMAZING SKILLS! or lack there of? He started off kicking in front of the base. After that was an obvious no-go, Ben proceeded to "man-bunt". After those oopsie moments, next turn he kicked the ball solid into the outfield. Finally! However... he was feeling himself too much. He head dived (even though the ball was no where close) into home plate. OUT! Man... Ben was just messing up left and right! Once he did all the no-no's at least once, he shook off his "tool-ness" and showed he knew how to play some awesome kickball! From outfield catches, to infield home runs... he made up for his flops and had a solid hand in helping his team secure a win!
