After a bit of a rocky season for Indy #2 it was great to see them make it all the way to the final round. While they were matched up against the veteran Morning Missiles team, they did not look scared and held their own with their 4 against 6. Both teams were in hustle mode for the match with many points consisting of at least one person diving for a ball. At the net there was heat coming from both sides and big blocks were being put up to try and stop the incoming fire. Games one and two both ended with a score of 25-20 with Morning Missiles taking home the victorious title

Both Bumpin Uglies and GnarWallabies were pumped and ready to rock as they jumped on the court tonight. In game one they each fought the good fight and the game ended in a 20-25 score to GnarWallabies. You could see the fire in Bumpin Uglies and in game two they came out swinging. After a little tension over some carried balls, Bumpin Uglies took game two 25-17. On to game three and both teams are more fired up than from the beginning. It starts out neck and neck, with points being dished to both sides. Soon, though, GnarWallabies started to find the hole in Bumpin Uglies’ 5 man team, and in their first season at Seattle Central they get to call themselves the Champs!

It was a bit of a slow day on the court between Rough Sets and Indecisive. Both teams showed up early and got a great warm up in, but the game was give and take on points from the start. There were some great saves, including a play where everyone on Indecisive followed the ball as in pinballed in the ceiling after the first touch and they got two more to put the ball over. Both teams had some wicked serves; especially an awesome jump serve on the Rough Sets side that was only ended by a fault of the server himself. After a good fight was had by all, Rough Sets once again took the victory and can continue to call themselves the Champs.
