Fall Co-ed Kickball at Lower Woodlands Wednesdays

This weeks player of the week goes to Gabe and his comeback. Gabe suffered a tough injury, one that left scars, but came back to help his teams success. While trying to go 75%, Gabe kicked 3 for 4 while scoring important runs that helped his team get the win. Gabe was pumped to be back, and his team was excited to have him. Great game Gabe!

Mallory or Mal, comes out every week with a great attitude and is always smiling.. She is the biggest cheerleader for her team and tries to keep the spirits up for everyone involved... With the Pseudo SLUTS going back and forth all night with Take Me To Pound Town, she never let her frustration show and played catcher with the best of them. She said hi and introduced herself to every player that came up to kick on the opposite team.. She doesnt believe in bunting so she went up kicked everytime she came up, going 2-3.. Thanks for having a great attitude and sportsmanship.. It makes it fun for everyone involved. Great job...

Antonie, was quiet most of the night when everyone else seemed loud... Wether it was arguing calls, yelling at each other or just encouraging each other it was loud...Antonie just calmy waited, waited for his oppurtunity to let his actions to all the speaking.. He caught everything that was kicked his way in right center field and showed great sportsmanship... It was the bottom of the 7th, with 2 outs and a runner at 2nd base. (I mean this is what kids dream of when they are young, Underdog kickball and to be a hero), Antonie kicked a screamer between the 2nd and 3rd baseman thats all she wrote... Antonie might have been the quietest on the field through the whole game but was the loudest when it was all said and done... Great game Antonie....
