Early Summer Co-ed Beach Volleyball at Golden Gardens Thursdays

Our player of the week this week is being noticed because she was slicing and dicing the court so hard, it sliced back. Her toe getting cut was no match for Amy, she even moved on to helping her team accomplish all three wins. It's incredible to see such strong will and determination out on the court. You are a true Underdog!!

Great leadership and sportsmanship is why our player of the week is being recognized this week. Zaid is a team player, who helps his team have as much fun as possible, while still slaying the games. A couple team stayed a little late to play, but all who stayed late were rallied by Zaid and helped me carry all the gear! A little bit of kindness goes a really long way. Huge thank you to all who helped, and Zaid, keep being an incredible Underdog!

On occasion, sports offer a platform for an athlete to transcend the competition and the game played. Such was the case when Robin McFee of Will Work For Sets transcended beach volleyball with his outstanding performance. Time and time again, Robin was the man to go to when a net play was needed, recording countless kills along the way! Every time he took off into the air, the opposing team knew they were in for some heat heading their way. For his crazy killing performance, Robin is our Player of the Week! Congratulations!
