Spring Gentlemens Flag Football at Seattle Center Sundays

The Lynch Mob was out in full force on Sunday Night. In a hard fought 24-20 victory, Shane Keck's three touchdowns, and two interceptions proved to be the difference. It wasn't for lack of effort by LTD, however. They gave the Lynch Mob all they could handle, and a little more after that, but it was Keck who continuously made plays to help his squad emerge victorious.

In a game that was close to the end had one player who stood out above the rest. Josh "Rico:" Sauve was spectacular this evening. He was doing something that NFL players wish they could do, just play football for fun. He had four TD catches including the game winner. He was a mad man on a mission. He had the defense confused the whole game by his amazing route running and blazing speed. Congrats to Rico Suave for his spectacular game!!

There was one player who stood above all the rest this past Sunday and it was Jason LaBay. Jason scored touchdowns four different ways in his team's 37-36 victory over PutDaLeagueOnOurBack. One throwing, one running, one receiving, and one on off of an interception. The statdog has been shuffling through the record books all day to find out if that's ever been done before and it looks like Jason is in some pretty exclusive company...

If the Statdog kept track of sacks through the years, it is believed that the all time sack leader in the history of Underdog Sports Leagues would be Chris Grady. While Grady plays for a team that has a much stronger reputation as an offensive team, Chris consistently stands out with his relentless pursuit of the opposing teams quarterback. This week was no exception. There were a total of three defensive stops in the championship game between RUN IT UP and the Lawn Wranglers, and all three could be directly attributed to Grady's QB pursuit. That's not to downplay Chris' impact on offense, as he had three touchdowns, including a 50 yard bomb. When you put it all together, Chris Grady is a complete player, and a key ingredient in the championship formula that the Lawn Wranglers have nearly mastered.
