POTW: Daniel Prieto
Palmer Construction and Remodel
No stranger to Spring softball, Daniel Prieto knew what it would take to snag a win for his team on the first day. With rain from the last week soaking the fields and creating a bit of a marshland, Daniel made the most of it by having a blast playing in the muck rather than letting it deter him from his best game. A solid performance in the outfield backed by an equally strong performance at the plate (3-4) locked Daniel in for this week's POTW!

POTW: Kayla Stoeser
Sully's Lounge
This weeks player of the week goes to the efforts of Kayla Stoesser at the plate, and second-base. On defense she made great defensive plays to help her team in a close game that opened up in the last inning. She racked up lots of outs, even one that was called safe. It was her bat that was the key to the POTW, hitting bomb after bomb making the defense run for balls hit over their head. She had lots of RBI's, and was the difference for her team, helping them find the win column.

balls a flyin
Jason is a name opponents won't soon forget after playing him. A solid 4-4 performance at the plate and hitting the cycle in those 4 attempts made Jason a force to be reckoned with for the season. Opponents beware! Jason has no problem smashing hits to left or right field and knocking in RBI's all over the place. Great game Jason!

The Empty Pitchers
This weeks player of the week goes to Dan Fasy for his all around excellence. On defense Dan let nothing past him at third-base. Dan made a webgem at third with a diving catch that amazed everyone who witnessed the play. He also had a big homer in a tight game, and multiple RBI's as well. Great game Dan!

POTW: Ladies
balls a flyin
This weeks player of the week goes to more then one person, it goes to all the ladies on balls a flyin. In every inning there was an amazing catch on "D" by one of the ladies on the team to stop any sort of rally the opponent try to create. There were bobbling catches, yoga position catches, and all around great hustle to make stellar catches. Great to the all the gals on balls a flyin and great win!

POTW: Tino Bastille
POTW: Tino Bastille
Team .08
This weeks player of the week goes to the efforts of Tino Bastille as the pitcher. In a tight game that ended 11 to 10, it was Tino on the mound that made the difference pitching a great game and went the distance. He also did some damage at the plate with his 12 ounce bat knocking in runs! Great job Tino!

The Dugouts
Dominic Nadarski made a leaping one handed catch in right center field and if that was not enough, delivered the game winning hit. In a game that was back and forth throughout, Dominic's heroics lead the Dugouts to a seventh inning win over Too Drunk to Score, 13-12. The Dugouts led the game 12-10 going into the top of the 7th, but the never say die, Too Drunk, rallied for 2 runs to tie the score. It could have been worse for the Dugouts, but Nadarski made a one handed catch to keep Too Drunk from taking a lead. In the bottom of the seventh, the Dugouts first two hitters reached base. After a pop out, Dominic delivered a sharp single to left, scoring the runner from 2nd base and enabling the Dugouts to advance to next weeks games. Terrific job, Dominic!
