With cricket being his favorite past time, Ushah has taken to softball like a duck to water. He continues to dazzle with his long range bombs and speed on the base pads.Played a great game Sunday going 4 for 4 with 2 HRs, 1 triple and a double. Awesome game for someone who just started playing softball the last few years.

Indy #1
Ron was an absolute gladiator on Sunday. Not sure if he has good insurance coverage but he sure played like he did. Giving up his body time after time during the game was surely awe inspiring and according to some just plain old pure unselfishness. When Indy team 1 needed a spark, Ron delivered that spark. The end score was indicative of when players like Ron play unselfishly giving up their bodies to motivate and energize their team. Hats off to Ron.

Afternoon Delight
With an absolutely awesome display of hitting and base running on Sunday Nick batted 4 for 4 smashing 4 home runs and driving in 7 of Afternoon Delight's 20 runs. This was a feat that has been rarely seen in Underdog League history and definitely one for the record books. If there was an individual Hall of Fame for Underdog Sports players, Nick would certainly be asked to send his uniform, shoes and bat to the HOF for future generations to marvel at and remember. Nick was also very strong on defense sucking up everything that was hit to him helping lock down Big Bat Bigger Balls batters and holding them to 1 run. We will probably never see this type of performance again in Underdog softball games. Hats off to Nick!!

Louisville Chuggers
On Sunday Jeremy was an absolute machine going 8 for 8 for the day and hitting for the "cycle" in the first game. He calmly stepped to plate each time on Sunday to deliver when the Louisville Chuggers needed a lift. He had 2 HRs, 4 doubles and 2 singles on the day. Jeremy also batted in 10 runs which accounted for 1/3 of the offense all day. Great performance from Jeremy and definitely a candidate for player of the year votes.

After his performance on Sunday during the playoffs, Brandon could easily make a book about his hitting exploits on the way to winning a championship with the title above. Stealing the show with 3-3 hitting in the title game and coming up with 4 huge RBI's (half the team total),Brandon helped seal the deal against their opponent for a victory. Way to go Brandon!
