Spring Co-ed Kickball at Ballard Boys & Girls Club Sundays

Justin dazzled and entertained us all with his unique but effective kicking style and hilarious outfield catch attempts.
The true spirit of kickball was captured and enjoyed by both teams because of his efforts and play.

Honorable Mention is Michaeli Wilson on the iBallers with a wicked goalkeeper-esque diving stop at third base to stop a lazer beam line drive.

This week the player of the game goes to two players; Eric Axelson and Ben Steele of Little Lebowski Urban Achievers. From the beginning, Eric dominated the field at pitcher and it continued inning after inning. He ended up pitching a shutout and playing great defense. Well done!
Ben Steele contributed to the win by his awesome kicking ability. His stats will knock your socks off; Grand Slam, 2-Run HR and 8 total RBI's. Great job!

This week's player of the week goes to Chris Peach of Cobra Kai. Peach as he is known to friends, teammates, and now the Underdog world, played 3 excellent games on Sunday. In his first game on Home Brew against Unfinished Business, he played a solid game, making good kicks and playing fundamental defense. Called up to play w/former Cobalt Blue Ballers b/c he's a bad ace, Peach rocked center field for em, making huge catches. And on his third and final game, Peach made one of the coolest plays EVER. Peach was playing Center, when the kicker drilled one to his left, sending him running to retrieve it. The ball dropped in for a basehit and the runner was rounding second, when to his surprise, and I think the whole field's surprise, he gets hit in the back w/the ball, kicked by Peach who was NOT JOKING at least 3 Las Vegas blocks away. HELL OF A PLAY! Great job out there, Peach!

On a beautiful Sunday afternoon, the team of the Lowered Expectations came to play. They scored early and often, due to same great plays from the all-star of the day Robert. Not only did Robert play almost every position during the game but he also hit for the cycle. 2 singles, a double, triple and a 3 run homerun. Thats what I call some Underdog Kickball skills. Good job to Lowered Expectations and Robert. Great game.
