Summer Gentlemens Flag Football at Juanita HS Tuesdays

Quarterback of the night! Marques threw for a total of seven touchdowns between two games in which his teams were understaffed. He was able to stay calm under pressure and find his man with alacrity. Marques kept the ball moving and the offense rolling despite heavy pressure from the defense. Welcome to Juanita! Congratulations on the win and way to play,

Grant W earns this week's Player of the Week award for contributing 2 TDs and 2 INTs for his team as they won by a mere 8 points. Grant's presence was felt on both sides of the ball, culminating with an INT on the last drive to seal the victory. Well done, Grant!

Jacob P earns this week's Player of the Week award for manning the QB position and leading his team to victory. Jacob goes a great job when the pressure is on, as he uses his legs just as well as his arm to get his team into the right position. Jacob is a great team leader and leads his team into the playoffs!

Winslow came into this championship match up knowing that every possession would count. It started out as you would think, each team scoring! Both missed the extra point leaving the score tied. The Soldiers were driving down the field to go up when suddenly they were faced with a 4th and long. This is when stars like Jacob step up. Jacob snagged the ball, not only for the 1st but for the touchdown. Two more times in the game Jacob came to play with 4th down touchdowns. Without those fast hands in the pouring rain this would have been a much different game. Great job Jacob!!!
