Hold My Beer
Lance R earns this week's Player of the week award for literally calling his own shot. Up at the dish, he mentioned he wanted to send the next pitch over the big wall in left field. Sure enough, the pitch came in and Lance drilled the pitch out of the park. If only it were so easy! Well done, Lance!

Jonathan Musarra
Frank's Lil' Sluggers
Skip wins this week's Player of the Week award for a couple of towering home runs, leading his team to victory. The first two times he came up with a runner on and sent the ball deeeeeeeeep into the skate park in left center. Skip also played a mean catcher and had a couple nice plays in the outfield.

Lamarr Smith
NW Crossfit
Lamarr absolutely crushed a home run to left center that started a rally for NW Crossfit. The home run also lifted his team's spirt with just how majestic and impressive it was. The home run soared through the air and with it, you could feel NW Crossfit's spirit rising too. The ensuing rally was enough to lift them to victory and

Josh Fairbanks
Josh Fairbanks

Josh had himself an excellent game. Josh hit for the cycle while also going 5-5 with 1 HR and 6 RBIs. However, his greatest achievement may have been knocking down the 215ft sign in left field. Leading off in the 1st, Josh roped a liner down the left field line, knocking the sign off the wall. Josh ended up with a triple on the play, but probably feels he deserves an automatic HR for pulling off the one in a million shot.

Luke Holtz
Luke Holtz
Orange Crush M2S
It isn't often a player is awarded the Player of the Week award for one play, but the play that Luke made on Monday night stands out. Hats off to his pitcher, who made him move 7 steps closer to the right field line as the batter stepped in. Sure enough, the batter laced a hard fly ball toward Luke, who simply closed his eyes and stuck out his glove. When he opened them, the ball was in his glove, like magic. It looked awkward and he said he couldn't do it in a million years again, but he did it the one time it counted.

Sophie Rice-Sauer
Bannon's Little Bunters
Sophie was on top of her game during Bannon'a Little Bunters double header. She was instrumental in getting two wins for her team on the night. Her solid defense at first base allowed the other fielders to play to their full potential. She also got it done with the bat, hitting to all parts of the park. A catalyst to multiple rallies, she was as valuable as anyone else on the field tonight.

Kyle Silk-Eglit
Kyle Silk-Eglit
Lether & Associates
Kyle S had a great all around game tonight. In the top of the first inning, he got things rolling. Lether & Associates put up a 10 spot in that innings thanks in large part to Kyle's 3-run home run that was an absolute bomb to left field. In his second at bat, he followed that up with a 2-run bomb. That was his team's 3rd home run, which meant that he had to focus on keeping the ball out of the air. He had no problems with that as he hit line drives all over the field and helped lead his team to victory. Great game Kyle!

Joshua Tufts
NW Crossfit
Joshua was vital to NW Crossfit's success. On the mound he threw well all night. Watching him pitch you would have thought he brought a paint brush with him as he was painting the corners all night. Joshua really kept the opposing team at bay. Offensively he had a couple solid hits and was a demon on the base paths. He took extra bases and put pressure on the defense all night.

Nick had a sensational game tonight when his team needed him most. Nick pulled off two of the rarer feats on the softball field in the same game when his team's season was on the line. With his grand slam Nick hit for the cycle. You can't be much more important to your team than Nick was today

Jonathan Musarra
Jonathan Musarra
Frank's Lil' Sluggers
Player of the Week this week takes a nod to power, and Jon certainly provided plenty of that with 2 massive home runs, including one blast that squared up a metal pole beyond the fence and clanged resoundingly back to almost the infield. Jon also had noticeable speed on the bases and pressured his opponents into off/line throws on even the simplest of ground balls. For his ability to get on base and his offensive fireworks, Jon (or Skip as his teammates say) is player of the week.
