Amar came up big for Wasted Potential on Tuesday, delivering a big RBI base hit to put the game out of reach. After being sent away with a strikeout after 2 foul balls in his first at bat, Amar's followed his teammates wishes to "kick the ball fair." His 2 RBIs a big part of his teams 6-3 win.

Another Reason to Clear Your Browser History
Pfeiffer was a monster as she rallied her short handed troops to a close hard fought victory. Pfeiffer was 4 - 4 from plate displaying power to all fields as well as laying a crafty bunt single after the opposing team witnessed her previous base hits to the outfield gaps. Equally impressive was her ability to play multiple positions and her running catch to the foul line when having to play RC and RF simultaneously to thwart a rally was key to victory. Pfeiffer is the Major Leagues definition of a 5 tool player!

Kickin' Be Hines
Annalies Schuster was an all-around stud for Kickin' Be Hines on Tuesday evening. Playing in her first game of the season, Annalies contributed on both sides of the ball by making several great plays on defense and scoring three runs. Kickin' Be Hines has to feel good about their chances for a title with players like Annalies.

Wasted Potential
Wasted Potential had a dominanting performance this week. They were crushing the ball on the offensive side and only gave up one run in the field with a stout defensive performance. The person who had the best game on this team was Kris Graden. He had multiple catches in the field, but he absolutely killed it on the offensive side. Kris had a homerun which you would think would be his best kick, but that actually came with the kick he almost sent over the fence to center field. It took one hop on the hill and bounced over the fence counting as a double. This is why Kris has earned player of the week.

Wasted Potential
The player of the week honors will go to Urvit Goel on Wasted Potential. Wasted Potential had a monster game and absolutely blew through their competition like it was nothing. Everything on that they were doing was working it looked like a well oiled machine. To contribute to that in a big way, Urvit kicked two homeruns driving in at least 5 RBI's and made plays early and often in the field. Urvit hopes to have this performance once playoffs roll around.

Intangiballs
Claire Coker of Intangiballs has earned player of the week honors. Claire had a brilliant game with great defensive, but left her mark on the offensive side of the ball with her speedy leadoff kicking. She was so fast some might compare her to Ichiro in his prime. If teams didn't know about her yet, they do now.

Farewell Game
Farewell Game
Wasted Potential
The player of the week honors are going to Javier Perozo of Wasted Potential. With this being his last game before moving Javier wanted to put together a great game so he could retire from kickball forever. He came out of the gates strong with multiple catches on defense and then added to his day with three doubles and scored two runs to solidify his career in kickball forever. I don't know if San Francisco has a kickball league, but if they do Javier might just have enough itch to come out of retirement. You can't ask for much more in a farewell performance.

Kickin' Be Hines
Chris and his team showed great sportsmanship today; while Kickin' Be Hines could have accepted a forfeit due to his opponent's inability to field a legal roster, he offered to let them borrow a couple of his team's players.

In addition, Chris pitched 6 shutout innings in a row! He had a couple of 1-2-3 innings mixed in there as well to lead his team defensively. He got his team off the board in the first inning with great baserunning to give his team the lead for the entire game until the bottom of the 7th when Struck by Whale tied it up.

While his team did not end up with the win, Chris embodied the great sportsmanship that is a pillar of Underdog. Chris and his entire team are winners to us!

Julia Horner
Do Sheep Count People?
Though her team lost a close but evenly played game, Julia Horner was the start of the night! Julia was a wizard on the mound fielding and successfully throwing out would be base runners left and right. At one point, Julia even caused a player to swing and miss. Just as masterful as her pitching, Julia was an run scoring threat as she was a very heads up base runner, manufacturing runs for her team by taking the extra base anytime she had an opportunity. She stated at the end of the game, that she wanted it and her hustle and enthusiasm on the field, proved just that!

Preston Brashers of Intangiballs has earned player of the week honors. Preston was kicking the ball all over the field and it seemed like everyone of his kicks was a double or more! Preston had two homeruns to add to the other great kicks he had. This offensive showcase was impressive and I'm sure Preston is looking forward to having a repeat performance in the near future.

Chris Rickey came through in the clutch on Tuesday night, as he put the exclamation on a fantastic game. With the score tied, Chris blasted a 1 out double in the bottom of 7th to give his team the victory. Even though Kickin' Be Hines fell to the number one seed in the following game, everyone will remember Chris' heroics in game 1.
