This championship game between two veteran teams did not disappoint. It was a tale of two halves. Steve Breaston Largement owned the first with a smokin offense that took advantage of a sluggish Rx Pushers defense. Everyone was surprised at the three score lead that the Steve Breaston Largements were able to gain going into half time. After shaking off the shell-shock, the Pushers fought back valiantly to even the score with their opponents. Thanks to some savvy clock management, the men of Rx Pushers were able to score with ten seconds remaining to take the lead and the title. Congrats on another championship Rx Pushers!

The Cinderella story of the T-Rex Wolverines came to a tragic conclusion on Sunday against the oft silly riDONKulous team. The T-Rex wolverines entered the playoffs as the lowest seed and after several gutsy performances found themselves facing the 3 seeded riDONKulous in the championship game. Perhaps the antics of riDONKulous lulled their opponents into a stupor, because riDONKulous jumped out to a huge early lead, thanks in part to a crazy pick-six that was taken off a receiver's feet. In the second half, the Wolverines put together a string of impressive scoring drives, but riDONKulous was able to keep them at bay and hold on to their lead until the time had expired. Congratulations riDONKulous you're the league Champions!

This was no David vs. Goliath matchup between Advocare and Lawn Wranglers this past Sunday. It was more like Goliath (Advocare) vs. Goliath's Older Brother (Lawn Wranglers). Both of these teams are ultra-athletic and have out matched opponents all year with their strength and speed. The primary difference between them is experience. Advocare is a young up-and-coming team that has taken Underdog Flag-Football by storm in the last couple seasons, while the Lawn Wranglers are a savvy veteran perennial powerhouse. Their experience paid off this past Sunday as the Lawn Wranglers were able to put together to solid halves of play, while Advocare only showed up for one. Lawn Wranglers got the best of Advocare this time around, but something tells their will be rematch in the near future and it will be anybodies game as the experience gap shrinks between these two giants.
