There was nothing slowing the Athletes down. They showed up on Sunday at noon, knowing that at 7:30, they were going to be crowned champs and that's exactly what happened. Cale was an excellent pitcher in all 3 games while guys like Johann and Ryan kept the bats alive.
Soft Balls and Big Bats came in as an underdog and managed to get some close wins to make it to the championship game. Hats off to the Soft Balls and Big Bats for all their hard work!

New name: The Full kegs. A team that contains a stacked line up and can weigh down its opponents w/its tight D, should not be known as The Empty Pitchers. "The empty pitchers", in 2 games, defeated their opponents 41-17. Luke and the crew had to first defeat the tough 206ers and then for the championship, 2nd ranked NPP. Tommy who leads the league in style catches, did his thing in the field, letting 0 balls passed him while there were big hits from Carrie, Maggie, Jihan and of course KTB. Luke, as always, pitched a spectacular game while minimizing his griping about the itsy bitsy strike zone the umpire bestowed upon him;) Great all around softball, Empty Pitchers!
